Behringer CT100 Cable Tester
It is reasuring to know that your cables are working properly before you put them to work. Behringer's new easy-to-use CT100 cable tester shows the status of your common audio cables beyond what other testers can do. For example, Behringer's microprocessor-controlled memory system allows intermittent cables to be "wiggle-tested", with faults displayed even after the fault stops. Cable specifics such as conductor continuity, phase, shell ground, and shorts can be identified before opening the connector. during preparation with the CT100's accurate, reliable, microprocessor-controlled tester system.
The CT100 accepts common audio connectors, including 1/4, XLR, RCA, 1/8, TT, and midi, and even provides a test tone. The CT100 clearly shows which pins are connected, or open, or shorted, and how they are phased, and displays this information until manually reset. The 440Hz and 1kHz test tones can be switched Mic level (-50dBu) or line level (+4du).
