Audio-Technica BP28 and BP28L Shotgun Microphones — Line + gradient large diaphragm condenser shotgun microphones. The BP28 has an overall length of 14″ with a highly directional pickup pattern, whereas the BP28L has an overall length of 22.4″ with an extremely narrow, highly directional pickup pattern.

Particularly suitable for long-distance miking for film or theater, the BP28 has an exceptionally low noise floor (8 dB) and transformer-coupled outputs that produce a smooth sonic character. The microphone also provides extremely high sensitivity (-28 dBV), wide dynamic range (135 dB), and high-SPL capability (143 dB), and is equipped with a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter and 10 dB pad.
