Rycote Baseball Windjammer Combo

The Rycote Baseball is the 3″ soft windscreen that creates a cavity-like internal air space around the microphone capsule. Specifically designed for interior boom pole use it offers a simple solution to greatly reduce the ‘swooshes’ that are induced by fast boom swings and other rapid movements.

Baseball’s internal transparent open-cell foam is covered with a soft, felt like material that is stitched up like a typical baseball for lasting durability. The specially sized elastomer grommets ensure a tight fitting on the microphone.

  • Greatly reduces the ‘swooshing’ noise artifacts caused by rapid boom cueing
  • Significantly increased performance compared to conventional foam windscreens
  • Acoustically transparent open cell foam and soft felt cover construction

Available in three models:

  • Baseball (19/20) for the DPA 4018, Sennheiser MKH 8050 and Schoeps CMC641.
  • Baseball (21/22) for the Sennheiser ME64, Neumann KM185.
  • Baseball (24/25) for the Sennheiser MKH 50.

The combo includes an additional Windjammer for the ultimate wind protection.
