Cinela PIA-KELLY Rain cover for PIANO — Rain protection dedicated to the PIANO windscreen. The thick layer (3cm) of large cell foam reduces the noise of the rain drops. Very quick fitting with velcro fastening. Completely acoustically transparent. Includes 150ml water-repellent Nikwak spray (for use on windshield fabric ONLY–not the foam). About Cinela KELLY Rain Covers

Cinela KELLY Rain Covers have a tight fit that closely follows the shape of the windshield, which allows the boom maneuverability to remain unchanged. It is not recommended to attempt adding a fur under the rain cover. This is extremely risky, as it would cause deformation of the foam, significant alteration of the acoustic transparency, waterlogged fur, and excessive wobbling.

Depending on the strength of the wind and the intensity of the rain, you have to make the best choice between adding the fur or the rain cover. Your experience and your ears will guide your choice.

For this protection to be effective, it is essential to waterproof the two fabrics that make up the first skin of the windshield, so that water does not penetrate the fabric. The protection is provided with a 150ml Nikwak water-repellent spray.

Please note: DO NOT spray the foam itself, as this will trap water in its cells.

As an additional protection, it is strongly recommended to wrap the external XLR plugs with food-safe plastic film.
