Deity TC-1 Timecode Generator Double Kit — Kit with two TC-1 wireless timecode generators. Battery life of up to 28 hours per unit. Designed to adapt to different workflows, the TC-1 includes an on-board OLED display and menu that allows you to operate the unit and wirelessly sync multiple TC-1 units at the same time. With the free Bluetooth® app, users are able to control every aspect of the TC-1, as well as other products from Deity and the Sidus Audio family of products. The TC-1’s locking 3.5mm timecode port means you don’t have to worry about your cables becoming unplugged after a unit has been mounted on a camera. The TC-1 takes the best features people love about other timecode boxes and combines all of it into a unified piece of gear.

TC-1 Overview

When recording sound separately or working with multiple cameras on a production—whether it’s a feature film, TV show, music video, documentary, or especially reality television—jam-syncing timecode is essential. With increasing devices supporting SMPTE timecode, post-production workflows are more efficient than ever. Instead of manually aligning waveforms, timecode streamlines the process, saving valuable time and resources while ensuring faster project turnaround.

Designed for precision, this advanced timecode generator is compatible with all SMPTE formats and features a TXCO oscillator with ±0.5 ppm accuracy—resulting in an impressively low drift rate of just one frame every 72 hours.

For even greater accuracy, wireless syncing keeps all units perfectly aligned throughout the day. You have two convenient options for control: Bluetooth 5.0 allows seamless operation through the Sidus Audio app, enabling jam sync and adjustments for up to 48 TC-1 units at distances up to 250 feet. For those who prefer a direct approach, the built-in OLED screen and control panel offer hands-on syncing for up to eight units via proprietary 2.4 GHz wireless technology, with a range of up to 30 feet.

The TC-1 features a secure, locking 3.5mm TRS timecode port, ensuring your connections remain intact throughout a shoot. When working with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, the included 3.5mm TRS cable records timecode on the left channel while preserving the right channel for reference audio—captured through the built-in omnidirectional microphone, which aligns with the camera lens for accurate audio backup.
