Serial #0420387 Condition: Mint!  Nagra model 4.2 in mint condition.  NAB curve. Date of manufacture: 1990.

It is rare that we list a consignment Nagra in mint condition, but this machine looks to be untouched, inside and out.  Originally purchased by the US military it was evidently properly stored, and always stayed in its leather case.  The heads show no sign of use.  Fully inspected, serviced, and calibrated for SM911 tape @510nW/m in July 2024 by Glen Trew.  Originally configured without microphone preamps and without internal pilot generator and resolver, the price is hundreds of dollars lower than it otherwise would be (most users will never need the synchronous features of the Nagra these days).  Trew Audio has installed two Nagra dynamic preamps so only dynamics microphones can be used.
