Description

Nagra model 4.2 in mint condition.  Never used in the field.  CCIR curve.  Date of manufacture: 1985.  From Glen Trew’s personal collection.  Used rarely only as a reference when servicing other Nagras.  The heads have never been lapped (resurfaced) yet show no signs of use.  Fully inspected, serviced, and calibrated for SM911 tape @510nW/m in November 2024 by Glen Trew.  Loaded with all features: Universal Mic Preamps, Internal Crystal Generator, Internal Resolver, Pilot Frequency Meter, Ruby Guides, Tape Counter.  Calibrated for SM911 tape @510nW/m.  H3 distortion <1%.  Performing at new Nagra specifications
