Radius Mini-ALTO + RAD-2 Kits — Compact and versatile microphone windshield and shock mounting system for location sound professionals. These kits feature the award-winning RAD-2 shock mount for exceptional isolation from handling noise, an ultra-lightweight 2-part magnetic “pod” windshield that can be fitted/unfitted in seconds, and a removable fur cover for added wind protection.

The Mini-ALTO has been designed to be fast and easy-to-use with almost all small condenser, short shotgun and standard shotgun sized microphones. With a diameter of just 85mm, the Mini-ALTO is the smallest “full-coverage” zeppelin windshield available in the professional audio recording industry. Even at this size, the Mini-ALTO will achieve wind reduction for up to -40dB with its included fur cover, which is comparable to larger pill-shaped windshields.

Kits include a “Smiley Happy Face” attachment that allows you to upgrade the RAD Shockmount into a Mini-ALTO. Simply screw the attachment into the centre of the RAD Shockmount and secure by adding the hoops on top. Also included is a stowage holder and carabiner clip that allows you to quickly attach your baskets to your bag or kit when you’re not using it.
