Description
RF Venue Spectrum Recorder
RF Venue Spectrum Recorder — Compact, standalone data recording device designed to assist in monitoring and optimizing wireless microphone and in-ear monitor systems. Spectrum Recorder continuously captures RF spectrum activity in the 400-700 MHz band, and writes CSV-formatted scan files to its internal storage drive. These time stamped scan files can be retrieved directly with a USB thumb drive or accessed remotely over a local network connection.
Connect Spectrum Recorder directly to your wireless microphone antenna system, or use the included whip antenna to capture spectrum for a site survey. PoE capable and battery ready, the Spectrum Recorder is small and lightweight enough to easily ship to a remote location or deploy across many rooms on a fixed installation.
Spectrum Recorder’s data can be uploaded to RF Venue’s free web-based Wireless System Builder tool for system design and frequency coordination, or imported natively to third party software like Shure® Wireless Workbench and Audio-Technica® Wireless Manager. No software installation is needed, and no cloud subscriptions are required.
Features
- Automatic Spectrum Recording: Instant and continuous capture of spectrum activity from 400-700 MHz. No spectrum analyzer or complex test equipment required.
- 24 Hour Scan Data Capture: See the entire scope of spectrum activity over 24 hours. Max Hold and Average scan views are captured and calculated automatically.
- Active Frequencies Scan: Separate fixed transmitters such as DTV stations from surprise interference sources. The Active Scan compiles hard to detect frequencies to help protect your wireless system from interference hits.
- Power Over Ethernet (PoE) Capable: Deploy Spectrum Recorder where needed with just an ethernet connection. Easily cover multiple rooms, buildings, or studios with a network of Spectrum Recorders.
- Battery Power Ready: No power? No problem. Spectrum Recorder’s 5V USB-C DC power input can accommodate common portable power banks used for charging mobile devices. A 10,000 mAh battery can power Spectrum Recorder for several days.
- No Software Installed, No Subscription Fees: Spectrum Recorder does not connect to any outside services or require any onsite software installation. IT professionals can use the Spectrum Recorder MAC address to assign a fixed IP address if desired.
- Updates and Upgrades: Look for exciting new capabilities for the RF Venue Spectrum Recorder as it grows and develops into the primary hub for all your RF spectrum data.
