Thanks--very thorough. I know the monitoring options (Dir/Boom/Mixer) are a little off-putting, but they follow Ron's philosophy of same as designed into his previous panel mixers. As a driver of one of those they seem logical to me. I agree that going for a limited +- 10 on the EQs is a good idea re: fineness of control. This was reflected, in a way in his older mixers as well and I've found I like the approach.

Great review. I must congratulate you on your excellent writing skills. It is no easy feat to clearly describe and discuss the complexity of the routing capabilities as effectively as you have.
Thank you for your comprehensive and thoughtful review of the Solice. As someone who has used the rock-solid PSC M8, for more years than I'd care to remember, I have been eagerly awaiting this new mixer. I now have a much clearer idea of what to look forward to.

Glen you really checked it out. I love it. It is small, that's good. I can't believe that an XLR would come out too easily, if they did that they have a reason. It is alot like the little Sonosax ST-S that started all this, but with more versatility. At 1/3 the cost. I like transformers on mic pres but that is just me.
